How to use a card kit to create 10 cards

Today I wanted to share a little more than just ten cards made from the August Love From Lizi card kit. I wanted to share a bit of background to my method of working with a card kit and how I can ensure I make at least ten cards with the supplies in the kit.

img_5117.jpgI’ve said it before and I’ll say it again the Love From Lizi kits are particularly jam packed with card making goodness, that coupled with the add ons I bought this month made it really easy for me to pull together ten cards. The first thing I do when I get any kit is go ahead and cut any embellishments that come on a sheet, like the vellum tiles in this kit and then I cut and score my card bases. After that I try to match up pieces of the patterned paper that jumps out as favourites with a card base.

From there I take a look at the embellishments and stamp sets to try to decide what to pair up and before i know it i have ten piles of products to use and the cards start to come together.

I see this process and the cards being made you can check out my YouTube video by clicking on the thumbnail below or clicking here if you are reading via email.
